All the 43 teachers and school authorities from our school embarked on a four-day educational tour to God’s own land, Kerala and Kanyakumari.
During the trip, they visited several notable places including the Milk Processing Plant in Kottayam, Shivan Temple, Vaikom, Vembanad Kaayal (Lake), Neyyar Dam, and the historic Padmanabhapuram Palace in Nagercoil. They also explored Vattakottai Fort and the Gandhi Mandapam in Kanyakumari. A full day of house boating and enjoying the scenic beauty of the Kerala backwaters was a truly memorable experience.
Visit to the confluence of the three seas at the Vivekananda Rock Memorial, aand the statues of Vivekananda and Thiruvalluvar were awesome experience. We also had the privilege of spending some time in Holy places such as Aralvaimozhi, Devasahayam Pillai Mount and St. Xavier’s Church, Kottar.
A special highlight of the trip was the opportunity for all teachers and Brothers to receive blessings from Mrs. Annamma Joseph, the mother of our Principal Bro. George K.J, who celebrated her 100th birthday in 2024.
The tour was an enriching experience that strengthened bonds among the staff and deepened their appreciation for the cultural and historical heritage of the places visited, before returning to school rejuvenated and inspired. All the teachers appreciated the generosity of the management.
