The 24th Annual Prize Nite of our school was celebrated with great enthusiasm on 16th March 2025. The programme began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, symbolizing knowledge and enlightenment, followed by Tamilthai Vazhthu. Bro. Antony P.J., our Headmaster, extended a warm welcome to the gathering.
We were honoured by the presence of Thiru Rajasekar, Hon’ble Judge of the Madras High Court, as the Chief Guest and Mr. Nachimuthu, Proprietor of PMM Textiles, Karur, as the Guest of Honour. Both dignitaries were felicitated with bouquets, shawls, and mementos in appreciation of their presence and past association with Bro. Principal.
The cultural performances by our students were truly captivating and showcased their remarkable talents. Vibrant and skilfully choreographed dance performances drew resounding applause, while the younger children impressed with their well-rehearsed recitations. The Tamil drama was based on the evils of the present day society. The English play ‘Cinderella’ by the Primary children enthralled the audience with storylines and commendable performances.
For the first time, the Annual Report for the academic year 2023–24 was presented visually on an LED screen, offering a dynamic and inspiring overview of the school's achievements throughout the year.
More than 1,000 merit certificates and prizes were awarded to students in recognition of their outstanding academic achievements. Special awards were also presented to acknowledge excellence among both students and staff. Special honours for the students included: Best Student of the Year, Best Conduct (for both boys and girls), Best outgoing Athelete, Best Outstanding Student in Standards V and X, Best Scout, Best Guide, Best NSS Volunteer, and Best NCC Cadet, Top Scorers in the Board Examinations for Standards X, XI, and XII, Students securing 95% and above in individual subjects, Best Class and Best Class Magazine.
Teachers were appreciated for their dedication and excellence in various disciplines such as: Best Lesson Plan, 100% Attendance etc.
The function was graced by numerous invitees, religious representatives from Yercaud, alumni, friends, and proud parents. The function concluded with the School song.
