The Community School is situated on a steeply sloping mountainous terrain, where flat land is virtually non-existent. To create space for buildings, playgrounds, and other facilities, significant time and resources have been invested. Large retaining walls, supported by columns reaching heights of 50 to 55 feet, have been constructed, with the gaps filled with gravel to lead the terrain.
Our school places great emphasis on the healthy physical development of all its students and residents. Qualified and well-trained staff members are appointed to conduct yoga and physical education programs. Practicing Yoga is compulsory for every student and staff member, fostering discipline and well-being.
Despite financial constraints and geographical challenges, the school has successfully constructed a playfield featuring a 200-meter track and a large grassy football ground providing students with a safe and adequate space for physical activities.
Within a short span, the children of the Community School have attracted the attention of the education department by winning numerous prizes in sports and games at the Zonal, District, State and National Levels. It is particularly heartening to note that the girl students are excelling even beyond their male counterparts.
