Financial Assistance

Our school is committed to the upliftment and holistic development of tribal children. Over the years, we have undertaken sustained and dedicated efforts to provide quality education and essential support to underprivileged communities, with a special focus on tribal populations.

In recognition of our continued service, the Government of Tamil Nadu, through the Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare Department, has extended partial support by sanctioning grant-in-aid for both the school and the hostel through a special G.O. No. 87, Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare Department, dated 06.08.2019.

Teaching and Non-Teaching Grant: Under this scheme, the teaching and non-teaching grant is sanctioned in accordance with the norms prescribed by the Right to Children for Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009, based on the teacher–student ratio. Nearly 90% of our staff receive reduced salaries under this scheme.

Boarding Grant for Hostellers: In addition to academic support, the Government also assists with the food and maintenance expenses of hostel students. This boarding grant is sanctioned on a per-student basis, at the rates applicable to Government Tribal Schools. This support ensures that residential students receive proper nutrition and care, contributing to their overall well-being and academic success.

Additional Support for Students: To ensure that students have access to necessary learning tools and daily essentials, the Government also provides a range of items free of cost, similar to provisions made in Government Tribal Schools. These include:

  • School uniform, dictionary, atlas, mat, and bed sheet (as per approved rates) for Hostellers

  • Textbooks, notebooks, school bag, geometry box, crayons, and colour pencils and woollen sweaters for children in hilly regions along with footwear for day scholars

This comprehensive assistance continues to strengthen our mission of creating a nurturing, inclusive, and empowering environment for tribal children.

An appeal: We are looking forward to financial and material support from well-wishers, benefactors and friends of the poor.
