We are committed to reducing pollution and protecting our planet, and have established an eco-friendly environment in and around the school. One of our key initiatives is the installation of a Hu-Methane Gas Plant, which processes organic waste - including “night soil” from toilets - to produce clean, renewable energy. This not only reduces waste but also provides an efficient fuel source for cooking.
Working towards the Green Revolution, the Community School has implemented its own waste management system to minimize the amount of waste for disposal. The methane gas produced by the plant is used directly in the school kitchen, reducing reliance on conventional fuels. Additionally, this system eliminates mosquito breeding and removes the need for regular septic tanks, contributing to a cleaner and pollution free environment.
